Install Certificate Iis-Server SSL
Importing an SSL Certificate onto your IIS is the first step to securing your site. Powershell, iismanager or both can be used to do this. The certificate will need to be binded to a secure port on your site.
Before you install the SSL Certificate, you need a valid CSR. You can create your CSR using the IIS manager or by using a third-party tool.
Click on Connections in the IIS manager to generate a CSR. Then select under Sites the site which needs to be encrypted with SSL. In the Actions pane on the right, click Edit Site, and then select Bindings.
The friendly name for the certificate must be entered in the Friendly Name box. In the dropdown box, you can also select the Personal option if your certificate should remain private. You will then need to save your.CER files in a place that IIS can easily access.
You can also use the iis manager to re-install a SSL certificate that has been removed from your server. After you have completed these steps, you will be able to rebind an SSL certificate with your website.

Step 3 - Generate CSR

After generating the CSR, you should be able to see the SSL certificate in the Server Certificates list on your IIS server. If it doesn't appear, the friendly name may not be present or it wasn't properly imported.
You can easily import the certificate by using IIS Manager or rsync. This can be done by opening the certificate pfx file and clicking on it in the IIS Manager window or by using Powershell.
You must rebind the SSL certificate to your website once it has been imported. You can rebind the SSL certificate by selecting it from the Bindings tab of the IIS Manager or using Powershell, or third-party tools such as Recursive Commands. Then, you must change the type of the binding to HTTPS and enter the IP address of your site or All Unassigned and the port over which the SSL will be enforced (usually 443). Click OK to close the Site Bindings Window.
